The purpose of the research is to study aerodynamics and heat transfer in duct a high-temperature recuperation system. object flat with thickness-to-height ratio a:b = 1:10, length c 400·a one-sided input surface, complicated mixed air movement duct. objectives are determine: (a) average temperatures on surfaces; (b) temperature distribution along duct; (c) local integral values (d) flow densities (e) exchange coefficients Nusselt numbers (f) pressure total drop method based conducting mathematical numerical experiment stationary three-dimensional Cartesian formulation physical modeling processes prototype. It established that dominant between walls convective transfer, which forced convection affected by free convection. There 1.5–2.0-fold difference density hot non-heated surfaces Generalizing dependences numbers, pressures friction resistance as functions dimensionless coordinate obtained.
